Like regular Supavents, Smartvents are designed to provide very effective and repeatable venting, eliminating one variable from the rotational molding process. Their one-way valve technology capitalizes on rotational molding's natural pressure build during the heating phase. This allows for more efficient curing of the plastic part which reduces the heat cycle time and the surface quality of plastic parts is improved. Scrap rate is reduced. Smartvents are very simple to use and install. Made of a high temperature Silicone, Smartvents are designed to provide very effective and repeatable venting to reduce scrap and capitalize on rotational molding's natural pressure build during the heating phase to reduce the heat cycle time and allow for more efficient curing of the plastic part.
